Content Strategy

DuracellMy experience in content strategy has its roots in 2003, when I helped to launch the blogging platform 20six to the UK market.

Since then I have worked on many consumer campaigns, from pitch stage to execution, for agencies including Seven, Havas Worldwide (formerly Euro RSCG) and Iris Worldwide.

I worked as a content manager and commissioning editor for the Guardian for two years (as a freelancer and staffer) during the transition from Seven Squared to the launch of GLabs. I still accept freelance projects for GLabs and have worked from ideas stage on major campaigns for clients including John Lewis, Guinness, Boden, Duracell, British Gas, Cuisinart, Neff, Visit Wales, Grundig, Speedo, Nespresso and Oral B.

Other consultancy work I’ve completed includes two years as freelance head of fashion for Style Compare, advising the company on editorial strategy, media relations and site content, and I am currently working with the parenting app Bubele on content direction and commercial strategy.
