My work has been published in the national press for over ten years (gulp). After starting out with content for teenagers and reviews in the music press, I moved on to real life and health-focused stories to establish my freelance career. Today, I'm lucky enough to specialise in matters that are close to my own heart - fashion (woo hoo!), lifestyle, family and travel.I’m passionate about my specialisms and write balanced, thoroughly-researched and hugely entertaining features for the women’s consumer press/online as a result. I have a raft of experts in my contacts book and a great nose for a topical story. As a mum of one, I have first hand experience of the joys and problems associated with parenting - and my addiction to clothes knows no bounds.
I still love meeting real people and hearing their amazing stories. With a stack of real life interviews behind me, I’m well-versed in the pitfalls of this particular brand of journalism and can find even the most impossible case studies.
A journalist with a keen sense of adventure (and a few screws loose), I enjoy any challenge that will provide readers with an addictive and toe-curling read. I report my outrageous and unusual experiences with honesty, heaps of fun and (inevitably) hilarious consequences.
